Company
Sasquatch Resources Corp. is a Vancouver-based company listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, focused on recovering metal from historic mine waste in British Columbia.
The story
Most explorers spend a decade and a lot of dilution hoping to find a deposit. We start where the deposit was already found — a century ago.
British Columbia’s early mining camps were ruthless about grade: at Mount Sicker, ore below roughly 8% copper wasn’t worth shipping. The result is waste rock that still carries real metal, sitting at surface, already broken — and quietly generating acid into the watersheds below.
Since listing on the CSE in September 2022, we’ve assembled five properties around this thesis, published sampling and ore-sorting results as we go, and brought environmental practice into the core of the plan rather than the appendix.
Principles
We prioritize metal that has already been mined, broken and left at surface. Exploration upside is the bonus, not the premise.
Removing acid-generating rock and closing century-old hazards isn’t a condition of the work — it is the work.
Sampling programs, sorting tests and acquisitions are reported promptly and in full, so communities and shareholders see the same picture we do.
